CENTENNIAL GALLERIA

These images are taken in the areas South of I-40, which will be affected when I-40 will be moved. As areas will be developed, many buildings will be demolished. While development is essential for growth of Oklahoma City, it is important to record and preserve our history. As we start the second century of Oklahoma, we should take building blocks of the first one hundred years and lay the foundation for the next one hundred years.

We are trying to collect stories about the buildings in the affected area. If you recognize any of the buildings, and you have memories and stories associated with them, please send us an email. The stories do not have to be 100 years old. What happens now, will be history tomorrow - so, please do not hesitate.
